Gorilla Trip to Uganda

GORILLA SAFARI WITH BWINDI SAFARIS ADVENTURE FOR 8 DAYS:

DAY 1: ENTEBBE-KAMPALA CITY OF SEVEN HILLS:
On reaching the airport, you will be picked and transferred to your chosen Hotel in Uganda?s capital. If your flight comes in the morning, you have to change your money to local money. Then get to know Kampala.
You can tour some exciting areas, being helped by your driver or guide. These places involve; Kasubi tombs, Namugongo martyrs shrine, museum and many more. Dinner and overnight will be at Speke Hotel Kampala or Hotel Africana or Kampala bed and breakfast (Basia).

DAY 2: KAMPALA-BWINDI
Have breakfast and set off to Bwindi, which is a bout an eight hour drive. After a stop at the craft village at the Craft village at the Equator and shopping, we proceed for lunch and after pass through the wonderful evergreen mountain country, which is, the ?little Switzerland of Uganda?. Get to Bwindi late in the evening and have dinner and overnight at lake Kitandara Tented accommodation (luxury) or Buhoma community Bandas (Basic).

DAY 3: GORILLA SAFARIS:
Early morning after having breakfast, carrying your packed lunch, got for a short talk at 08:00 hours prior to starting the trek. Gorilla Tour Gorilla tracking cannot be predicted, therefore it is easy to predict hoe much time you will spend in the process. It may take 2 to 8 hours, and you should be ready to move a long distance in steep and muddy conditions. Sometimes with rain overhead, prior to meeting any gorillas. An encounter of these gentle giants will be your most exciting experience!. For purposes of conservation, time spent with the gorillas is shortened to sixty minutes. The ranger guide usually briefs you on how to behave with these gentle giants. After meeting a group of gorillas some with silver bucks, one can conclude ?a sight of Gorillas has made my life time tour?. DAY 4: BWINDI QUEEN ELIZABETH:
After taking breakfast, you will be taken to Queen Elizabeth National Park. The park has a lot of wildlife and others refer to it as a binder?s paradise!
Reach through the popular Ishaka side, expecting to reward your cameras by viewing the tree-climbing lions. Come in the evening at Mweya safari lodge or Jacana safari lodge for luxury or Institute of Ecology for basic accommodation.

DAY 5: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK:
At 0600 hours, leave for a game drive in the Northern sectors of the park along the Kasenyi path. This is the finest time for chances of seeing the cats in action. This early morning game drive in the park, offers very good chances to view lions, leopards, Giant forest hogs, cape buffaloes, elephants, Defassa, water bucks, Uganda kobs, Topi and Bush bucks plus many others. From taking lunch have pleasure in the unique 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and into Lake Edward. This trip passes via perhaps the highest concentration of Hippos and several animals may be viewed drinking at the water?s edge. The launch cruise provides a wonderful platform for photography. Bird watching and game viewing is excellent!. The prolific bird life is colourful and extremely great, with well more than 550 resident species registered., making it an attraction for bird lovers. Dinner and overnight will be at Mweya safari lodge or jacana safari lodge for luxury or Institute of Ecology for basic accommodation.

DAY 6: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK-KIBALE NATIONAL PARK.
Have breakfast, you may want to explore Kyambura wildlife Reserve driving through grassland region. Pass by the surprising gorge of the tropical rainforest, which is 100 metres deep. Move into Kyambura river gorge for a bonus ordinary experience searching chimpanzees. It is a profitable experience not only to view chimps, but also to view the wonderful river valley, which is a home to several birds and butterfly species, then go to Kibale National park, which is a proclaimed habitat for primates. Dinner will be at Ndali safari lodge (luxury) or Kanyankyu ecological site (Basic) together with an overnight.

DAY 7: KIBALE CHIMPANZEE TREKKING OR PRIMATE WALK:
From taking breakfast, we shall set off to Kibale forest National Park, to observe primates. This part is famous for the biggest number of primate species in Africa. The activity begins at 8:00 am in the morning. 2-3 hours tracking chimpanzees plus other primates which include phoestes, Red-Colobus, Blues, Red-tailed and Grey Checked mangabeys swinging through the dense forest and birds, butterflies and several small insects. The guide will offer detailed explanations not only about primates, but also on all the forest?s fauna and flora, making sure that your walk is both informative and pleasurable. This move is very good for observing bird life plus primates in close quarters.

A tour to Bigodi swamp Ecotourism site is surprising, as we shall meet scarce and beautiful flora and fauna. Lunch, dinner plus overnight will all be at Ndali safari lodge or Kanyankyu ecological site.

DAY 8: KIBALE-KAMPALA:
Tour the region, which has got several crater lakes, and after continue to Kampala with lunch on the way. Dinner and overnight will be at Speke Hotel or Hotel Africana or Kampala Bed and Breakfast.
