Bwindi National Park
NATURE WALKS:

For the tourist 2 or 3 days in Bwindi, the park possesses four strange hiking trails. THE MUNYANGA RIVER TRAIL:
Is an important short walk for tourists having limited time to spend. Here you can view birds and primates of the forest edge.
The famous waterfall trail offers a fascinating feature of the forest, with a profusion of tree ferns, epithetic ferns, orchids and Bwindi?s colourful array of butterflies. This trail that heads to e delightful very clear waterfalls characterizes your impression of a tropical rainforest.
THE RUSHURRA TRAIL:
Gives expansive sights a cross the western rift valley floor. To the west, Congo?s Parc Nationale Des Virungas offers a spectacular backdrop and on a clear day, Lake Edward and the Rwenzori Mountain are seen.
THE MUZABAJIRRO TRAIL:
It provides very exciting views of Bwindi forest, western rift valley, plus the Virungas. Along the way, you evidence hundreds of pre-historic tree ferns. The top of this is a wonderful place for a picnic lunch.
THE RIVER IVY TRAIL:
It is the largest in the park so far. It will make you busy the whole day. It is highly suggested for bird watchers.
BUHOMA VILLAGE TOURISTS WALK:
The local community manages the village tourist walk, which consumes up to three hours and the money got here is invested into the community to make better their welfare. The walk exposes you to various interesting sites, for example the typical rural homestead, a tour to the local traditional healers, a banana beer brewing demonstration site and a lot more.
HIT THE TRAIL I YOUR CAR:

In the evenings, engage in captivating traditional performances done by women?s groups. Money from these goes directly to make better welfare of families around the park.

KIHIHI:
Savanna Resort Hotel is 40 kilometers to Buhoma and is near Ishaka sector, of Queen Elizabeth National Park.
ACCESS:
From Kampala to Kabale, it is a distance of 414 kilometers on bitumen surface and consumes 6 to 7 hours. An extra 120 kilometers from Kabale to Buhoma park Headquarters by way of Kanungu and Kanyantorogo on murram road consumes 3 to 4 hours and a 4-wheel drive vehicle may be required. Kabale to Ruhija then to Buhoma is 95 kilometers and consumes approximately 3 hours. The public does not use this road often. A 4WD vehicle is required.
