DAY 1: Queen Elizabeth wild life safari
Gorilla searching in Bwindi. Early morning, drive towards the west from Kampala and make a stop at the Equator for photographs. Continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park following the mystical Rwenzori mountain range for much of the journey. A game drive en route may be rewarded with sights of lions, elephants, leopards, buffaloes, hyenas and a diversity of antelope species. Enjoy the unique evening 2-hour boat cruise on the Kazinga channel and into Lake Edward.

This trip passes through possibly the highest concentration if Hippos and several animals may be viewed drinking at the water?s edge. This launch cruise provides a wonderful platform for photography, bird watching and game viewing. The prolific bird life is colourful and extremely great with well more than 550 resident species. Dinner and overnight will be at Mweya safari lodge or Budget Institute of Ecology (BLD).

DAY 2: Gorilla Tour

After taking a cup of coffee, start on an early morning game drive along Kasenyi track and Queens mile in the park and expect to view lions, elephants, cape buffaloes, warthogs, leopard, hyena, mangroose, water bucks, Uganda kobs, topi and very many small animals and birds. After the game drive, continue to Bwindi through Maramagambo and Ishasha sector. As you drive along the road through Ishasha sector, animals for example the waterbucks, elephants, antelopes, buffaloes, and kobs can be viewed along the road. Relax around the forest camp. Dinner and overnight at the luxurious gorilla camp set deep in the rain forest.

DAY 3: Bwindi Gorilla safari
There is an early morning entry into a gorilla sanctuary. The rainforest is spectacular as it provides a dramatic, heavily forested and dense landscape crisscrossed by several animal trails, enabling access for visitors. Registered mammals here include the endangered mountain gorilla, the scarce golden monkey, buffalo, elephants, black-fronted duikers, bushbucks, leopards, giant forest hogs and other animals. This park is famously known for the attracting gorillas, where the time used and terrain changes according to the movements of these wonderful primates. The thrill of spending time with and viewing these gentle giant gorillas is a rare, moving, awesome and exciting adventure which will leave you with everlasting memories of a real special experience. The gorillas are shy and peaceful animals and it is an everlasting experience to observe and photograph them while they play and interact. Dinner and overnight will be at Buhoma homestead of Buhoma community camp.

DAY 4:
A breast feeding gorilla in Bwindi National park. After taking breakfast, set off back to Kampala. Continue to Kampala having lunch on the way, the drive back to Kampala stops at the Mpigi Royal Drum makers. At this place, you will be able to view the ceremonial drums being crafted using methods passed down through generations. There will also be time to stop at the Equator to have photographs and you will reach Kampala by early morning.
